Speaking Again, With More to Say

For years, I was one of South Africa’s most booked speakers, delivering up to 3-5 talks a week, across industries, across borders. It was exhilarating work, but also exhausting. Not just the travel, but constantly learning, doing, teaching, and travelling. So when the world paused in 2020, I took the chance to step off the speaking circuit. Not to disappear, but to deepen.

Over the past few years, I’ve focused on impact. I’ve led campaigns that reached millions, built Treeshake into a consultancy that has had a real impact on the world - in public policy, health, renewables, animal protection, large scale fund-raising, community building. I’ve walked closely with organizations through high-stakes transformations.
I also transformed personally - I got married, adopted a vegan diet, developed a consistent contemplative practice, become more active in my local church, got more intensely into running, and I’ve generally become stronger and more resilient in body and mind.

Focusing on running a small, world class company working with high impact clients has also given me the freedom and opportunity to work with emerging AI technologies in a lab-like context. Experimenting to see what works, and being able to take and apply the best of that back into scaling our campaigns and impact.

This is how I’ve found myself giving more talks and workships.

We’re experiencing an Intelligence Transformation. AI is the new electricity, infusing every industry, role, and process. And just like digital before it, it brings both disruption and opportunity. But AI done wrong wastes time, energy, and trust. AI done right? It changes the game.

Organisations need experienced voices who are able to discern hype from real opportunity and risk. To develop values-based strategies for transformation that create new value rather than simply creating disruption in the interest of quick wins.

I help people and organizations understand the real opportunities of AI, not just the hype. My talks integrate:

  • Strategic insight from running high-impact campaigns,

  • Human-centered design for change,

  • And a calm, clear voice to navigate complexity.

This isn’t just about technology. It’s about people, processes, and purpose. It’s about doing what matters, better.

My talks and workshops help teams turn disruption into opportunity. Let’s connect to explore what’s possible for your organization.
